What kinds of events do you attend?+
Birthdays, personal visits, barn birthdays, corporate events, weddings, showers, care facilities, community celebrations, seasonal events and more. Let us know your idea.
Can the animals come inside?+
Indoor visits may be possible for some animals and venues. It depends on the space, the animals and the type of interaction. Tell us about your location and we’ll confirm what’s possible before booking.
Are handlers included in the visit?+
Yes. Our approach is based on individually handled, guided animal interactions, with handlers remaining involved for the duration of the animal experience.
Do I need to provide anything or set up a pen?+
Requirements vary by venue, animals and type of visit. Share details about the space and we’ll discuss any setup or access needs when we confirm your booking.
How early do you arrive to set up?+
Arrival and setup timing depend on your event. We’ll discuss logistics and timing with you as part of the planning process.
How long does a visit last?+
Visit lengths are arranged based on your event and the animals requested. Include your preferred duration on the quote form so we can make a recommendation.
Can we book a pony or unicorn experience?+
Yes. You can request a mini pony appearance, a pony with rides, a unicorn-style appearance or a unicorn appearance with rides. These are distinct options quoted for your event, not automatic add-on prices. Safety and rider requirements will be confirmed before booking.
Can children ride Allen the Alpaca?+
No. Allen is available for suitable meet-and-greet interactions, not riding.
Where is the barn?+
Willow Ridge is located northwest of Airdrie in the Rocky View County area. Barn visits are arranged in advance, and directions can be confirmed with your booking.
How much does it cost?+
We provide quotes based on the type of experience, your location, visit length, animal selection and event requirements. Send the request form with your details to get started.
What if the weather is bad?+
We’ll discuss suitable weather arrangements and any rescheduling terms when planning your event. Please ask about outdoor backup plans when requesting a quote.
Is a request the same as a confirmed booking?+
No. A quote request starts the conversation. The visit is confirmed only after Willow Ridge verifies availability and finalizes the arrangements with you.
